Yes, so long as the expenses were incurred to pay for the care of yourself, your spouse or common-law partner; or a dependent. A dependent is you or your spouse’s or common-law partner’s child or grandchild; or you or your spouse’s or common-law partner’s parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, nephews, or nieces who lived in Canada at any time in the year. Yes, we accept insurance and we can direct bill insurance. In the instance where direct billing is not available for your insurance company, we will provide a receipt to be submitted to your insurance. Insurance fully covers (or partially covers) many of the homecare services we provide.
